Abstract
Most municipal refuse is treated by incineration plants. As an environmentally-friendly approach, the ash melting plants which have been introduced in recent years will convert the ash to a pollution-free slag and reduce its volume.This paper describes the supervisory and control system.Its features include:(1) The practical application of the EIC (Electrical control, Instrumentation and Computer) integration system.(2) The user-friendly operation system and accurate process management.(3) Combining high powered computer controls with instrumentation.(4) Environmentally durable sensors.
