Abstract

This study attempted to establish improvement measures for the purpose of characterizing fire service experience halls and securing competitiveness. In this study, SWOT analysis was conducted based on 3C analysis and in-depth interviews with experts. Through 3C analysis, the characteristics and potential for change of visitors, other organizations and fire service organizations were analyzed, and opinions of internal and external experts of the fire service were collected through in-depth interviews with experts, and opinions on safety education prospects were collected. Based on the results of the 3C analysis and the in-depth interview analysis, nine SWOT factors were derived, and four improvement measures(strategies) were presented based on this. As an SO strategy, 'Development and distribution of safety education programs led by the National Fire Agency' was suggested, and as an ST strategy, 'strengthening the expertise of fire safety education instructors'. As a WO strategy, 'connection and promotion strengthening of safety education programs between fire agencies' was suggested, and as a WT strategy, 'expanding the experience age group and developing educational contents that can only fire agencies has’ was suggested.
