幽默是生活必不可少的一味调料，越来越多的英语学习者通过美剧来提升自己的口语水平，《好汉两个半》是美国CBS电视台的金牌喜剧，自问世以来受到电视观众的热烈追捧。在这部剧中，观众可以了解美国社会中的家庭文化、亲子关系，同时可以从人物角色的言语对话中获得无尽的乐趣。本文从违反Leech的礼貌原则这两个角度分析《好汉两个半》第二季中的言语幽默，旨在帮助观众更好的理解对话中的幽默的产生机制。 Two and a Half Men, which is produced by Columbia Broadcasting System, has been listed as one of the top comedies in America and met with great popularity both at home and abroad since its launching. This article analyzed the verbal Humor from the perspective of the violation of Polite-ness Principle so that it would be much easier for the audiences to get the hang of those punch lines and better understand how the humor is produced.
