Abstract

Mt. Chilbo is 238.8m high and located throughout Sangrok-gu, Ansan-si and Gwonseon-gu, Suwon-si and Maesong-myeon, Hwaseong-si. The investigated vascular plants in this area consist of total 537 taxa: 22 forms, 85 varieties, 4 subspecies and 426 species, 339 genera, 116 families, 41 orders, 4 classes and 3 phyla. It is not found the first grade endangered species of wild flora of the ministry of environment. But two species of the second grade endangered species are investigated in this study, those are Haeorabinancho(<italic>Habenaria radiata</italic> Spreng.) and Chilbochima(<italic>Metanarthecium luteoviride</italic> Maxim.) which is thought to be planted for restoration, There are 4 taxa of insectivorous plants, those are <italic>Drosera rotundifolia</italic> L., <italic>Utricularia bifida</italic> L., <italic>Utricularia racemosa</italic> Wall and <italic>Utricularia vulgaris</italic> var. <italic>japonica</italic> Tamura. And also there are 51 taxa of wetland plants involving <italic>Nymphoides peltata</italic> Kuntze. It is demanded to restore private rice paddies and arable fields for purchasing them by the province. Also Chilbochima restoration project should be accompanied carefully.
