The research goal is to systematize knowledge about management thought and highlight trends in the development of modern approaches. The study reveals key stages in the evolution of management thought, including the transition from the theories of F. Taylor and G. Fayol to modern management approaches such as management by objectives, the information approach, «Teal organizations,» and others. Current trends in management are analyzed, including digitization, customer orientation, sustainable development, and others.
