Abstract

“燃料电池”课程是新能源科学与工程本科专业的一门重要专业课。本文比较了中国和加拿大两所大学对该课程的教学情况,从教学形式与内容、教材选择、教学方法与手段、对学生的考核体系以及助教的作用这五个方面分析了存在的差异。总体上,中加“燃料电池”课程教学之间尚存在着全方位的差距。本文提出了增加学时、提高课程师生比、改善学生的自学环境等措施,有助于提升国内该课程的教学质量。 The “fuel cells” course is an important component of the undergraduate program of New Energy Science and Engineering. In this paper, the instructing situation for this course in a Chinese uni-versity and a Canadian university is compared in respect of five aspects: The instructing style and contents, selection of textbooks, the instructing method, the appraising system for students, and the role of teaching assistant. Generally, there is still some way to go for Chinese universities on the course instruction compared with University of Waterloo in Canada. Herein we propose some approaches to improve the teaching quality in Chinese universities, including increasing the instructing time, raising the ratio of instructors to students, as well as constructing better self-learning environment for students, etc.
