Abstract

Spectral-spatial two-dimensional ESR imaging was applied to studies on the behavior of di-t-butyl nitroxide (DTBN) adsorbed on A-, X-, and Y-type zeolites. The variation of spin distribution and total spin concentration was observed under annealing treatments. In X- and Y-type zeolites DTBN was adsorbed preferentially at the gas-introduced side of the sample. In consrast DTBN was adsorbed over the whole sample uniformly in A-type zeolite. A difference in the spatial distribution was noted also by desorption.
