Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a reliable and valid scale to help coaches objectively recognize their self-efficacy and to measure self-efficacy more reliably to enable various program development. Which can be used in related research on self-efficacy for coaches in the future. First, the development of a self-efficacy scale for coaches was conducted through three steps: preliminary question selection process, scale development process, and test reliability and validity. Three components with 25 questions were selected: emotional self-efficacy, relationship self-efficacy, and communication self-efficacy. Second, reliability and validity were verified through Cronbach's α coefficient and model fit index of the self-efficacy for coaches scale. In conclusion, the three components developed as a result of this study are important factors constituting the self-efficacy for coaches based on self-efficacy and coaching as a theoretical background.
