Abstract

The constituents of seeds of Ligustrum obtusifolium SIEB. et ZUCC. were investigated. Glyceride, α-amyrin, β-amyrin, acetylursolic acid, acetyloleanolic acid, ursolic acid, oleanolic acid, 2α-hydroxyursolic acid, maslinic acid and β-sitos-terol were identified from the etherial extract. β-Sitosteryl β-D-glucoside, mannitol and D-glucose were isolated from the methanolic extract. Secoiridoids and phenylethane derivatives were not detected in the seeds.
