Abstract

This publication serves as the concluding article in a series of works by the author examining Russo-British relations in the XVIII century within the scientific heritage of British historian David Bain Horn. The object of study in this article is the relations between Russia and Great Britain as presented in Horn’s monograph “Great Britain and Europe in the XVIII Century”. The article explores how Russo-British relations of the XVIII century are portrayed in Horn’s research and the assessments he provides regarding these relations. Through a comparative analysis, the author of the article not only traces the evolution of D.B. Horn’s views on the relations between Britain and Russia in the XVIII century but also identifies differences from the perspectives and assessments of Soviet and Russian historians.
