Abstract

Bacteria of the species V. parahaemolyticus are halophilic microorganisms that may be causing acute enteric disease in humans, occurring according to the type of foodborne illness. The success of the treatment-and-prophylactic and sanitary-epidemiological measures aimed at the prevention of the proliferation of «halophiles» largely depends on timely and accurate identification of strains of Vibrio secreted from patients, seafood, as well as in monitoring of environmental objects. This paper presents a method of identifying strains of the species V. parahaemolyticus by PCR in «real time» (Real-Time PCR), which enables the selection of chromosomal DNA from the test material, the PCR with the designed by us primers specific to the portion of a gene collagenase vppC and the probe, allowing to detect amplificatory the fragment and to incorporate the results in real-time.
