Abstract
The article presents the results of the study that investigated the degree of infection of various types of raw materials used for the production of compound feedstuff (oil cakes, oil meals, glutens, animal meal, protein-vitamin-mineral supplements, skimmed milk substitute) by fungi of genus Penicillium. According to the data, 43 out of 48 samples examined were contaminated with these fungi, the dominating species being P. cyclopium, P. palitans and P. chrysogenum.
