Abstract

Recently, DfMA-based modular research has been active as a solution to the improvement of construction productivity. However, it is difficult to produce a design that satisfies the requirements of the client due to excessive standardization and limited number of architects. On the other hand, online platforms are recently attracting attention as tools for collaboration and communication. Accordingly, this study intends to establish an online platform that can produce DfMA-based modular designs suitable for the requirements of the client. The scope of the study was a small detached house. As for the research method, the platform process was constructed through prior research and technology was developed to materialize this process. In addition, the platform system elements were configured and a user-centered interface was implemented so that the corresponding process could be built on the platform. Through this study, the client will be able to produce a modular design with high satisfaction.
