Abstract

The data on the number and status of the nests of the threatened species, Oriental White Stork (Ciconia boyciana Swinhoe, 1873) in the Aistiny Reserve are presented. Two inspections of this established in 2010 special protected area (19 130 ha) revealed 12 stork nests, including 9 inhabited nests. The provided scheme shows the location of stork nests and artificial nest supports. Stork breeding success in 2011 is reported.
