Abstract

Hadong ttuium tea is a newly developed tea manufacturing method in Hadong, based on the existence of Korean traditional tea manufacturing method. Korean people possess wisdom to make food, as ttuium, helpful for health promotion by lengthening the preservation period and removing toxicity. This wisdom of ttuium was applied to the tea manufacturing process and after a long study on the ttuium fermentation process, Hadong ttuium tea manufacturing method was completed. In other words, the tea manufacturing method passed down in Akyang area of Hadong was combined with the process of floating used for food by our ancestors. This study is intended to study Hadong ttuium tea which contains history, tradition, creativity, and practicality, based on uniqueness internalizing the regionality of Hadong and suggest activation plans to develop Hadong ttuium tea as a cultural and tourist product. The final policy for development plans of Hadong ttuium tea is part of the sixth industrialization launch and this study presents a strategy for establishing fundamental manufacture infrastructure. Prior to that, this study examines the background of the sixth industrialization for Hadong ttuium tea and relevant policies and considers basic orientation for brand development as a marketing strategy for the sixth industrialization
