Abstract
A fuel stack test section (T1) is the first test section of the helium engineering demonstration loop (HENDEL) installed at Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute. The construction of the T1 test section was completed in March, 1983. This test section aims to evaluate heat transfer and fluid-dynamic characteristics of the components for the VHTR, such as the fuel assemblies or control rods.This report describes the general outline of the fuel stack test section (HENDEL T1).
