Abstract

The author reflects on the nature and causes of numerous cataclysms that have affected almost all countries in recent decades, and concludes that global crises, pandemics and catastrophes are the fault of humanity, which lives contrary to the laws of nature, dangerously disturbing the balance of the planetary ecosystem. Possible ways of overcoming the consequences of harmful man-made impact on the environment are considered. It is emphasized that the first and most important step should be a radical change in the worldview and consumption paradigm of modern man.
