Abstract
The article analyzes the features of the use of pneumatic mixing in the chemical industry, the ad-vantages and disadvantages of this method. The basic designs of equipment for pneumatic mix-ing and its calculation are considered. A variant of reconstruction of a pneumatic mixing device in a reactor for bitumen production is being considered to improve the quality of mixing and re-duce energy and material costs. Instead of a tubular bubbling device, it is proposed to use a gas-lift type device
