Abstract

The article explores the main issues of preserving the native language in the diaspora. Extralin-guistic factors were noted for the preservation of the Adyghe language in a foreign language envi-ronment. To study the speech of the Adyghe diaspora abroad, as well as to determine the methods of preserving the native language, comparative historical and analytical methods were used. The source base is compiled by the works of scientists who studied the features of the language of the Adyghe diaspora abroad. The main goal of the work is to summarize the main methods of preserv-ing the Adyghe (Circassian) language (speech) in a foreign language environment, and tell what was done for this. To achieve this, we analyzed the work of our predecessors on the topic under study. It was concluded that, although representatives of the Adyghe diaspora abroad had suffi-cient obstacles to the preservation and development of the native language; they could preserve the language, traditions and customs.
