Abstract
Many years of practical educational work in the role of an expert mentor of a youth association allowed the author to formulate a problem partially related to the deformation of the country's cultural field in the post-Soviet period. Possible social and individual ways of overcoming the problem of civil infantilism, deeply rooted in human existence, are revealed.
