Abstract

The article outlines the results of the total microbial number (PMF), morphological and biochemical analysis of commercial biological products "Bitoxibacillin", "Atlant", "Phytosporin-M" for compliance with manufacturers' descriptions. No pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms are found in all studied commercial biological products. The number of cells in 1 g of the product "Phytosporin-M" in both powder and paste form was 2.8 ×109 CFU/g and 3 ×108 CFU/g, respectively, which indicates a higher viability of microorganisms in the powder preparation. In bioproducts with expired shelf life “Bitoxybacillin” and “Atlant” a decrease in cell titer was observed. Bacillus megaterium culture was isolated in the “Atlant” product, whereas Pseudomonas fluorescens, Azotobacter chroococcum, Lactococcus lactis were not detected.
