Abstract

This paper looks into kenotic theology, which draws keener attention in present days than various traditional perspectives on God, and why it emerges as a significant doctrine of divinity. The project will discuss how the concept of God can be reinterpreted when engaged with a kenotic way of thinking. The purpose of this study is to discover how the metaphysics of Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947), which gets further noticed by modern philosophers of life, is connected with kenotic thinking process. The paper will also analyze how the knowledge of life and nature in the 21st century and the theology of nature based on it are related to the thought of kenosis that emphasizes God's self-emptying. By attempting a new connection between the kenosis of God and the creation of nature, the study will eventually explore the possibility of a new discourse that illuminates the reality of life more deeply.
