Abstract

Digitalization or digitalization (from the English digital) not only of the economy, but also of almost all spheres of our life is happening before our eyes. We have long been familiar with the digitization of data and perfectly use the digital form of any type of information in our work and entertainment: text, image, drawing, sound, video, photos, paper documents and printed publications, paintings. Scanned – received an electronic document, i.e. its digital form. According to statistics, more than 70% of the world's population uses mobile applications worldwide, even in the poorest sector of households. Every day, the number of Internet users is growing exponentially. Half of the world's population has access to the Internet. Many of us do not fully comprehend this process of digitalization, which admires the possibilities of new products and toys-gadgets and carries major risks, primarily for people themselves. Yes, the forms of work are constantly changing, new professions are emerging, even new jobs. But a large proportion of classic jobs are disappearing. People seemed to be ready for this, they had long heard about the automation of business processes, industrial robotics, computerization in the service sectors – tourism and hotel business, banks and insurance companies, educational and public services. But when this leads to mass layoffs of workers, including you, then the deep problems of social inequality, the washing out of the middle class and the polarization of society are already beginning to upset. At this time, it is the state that should assume the functions of social protection of citizens. The absence of state control will lead to a tightening of capitalist relations and a return to the nineties.
