Abstract

This study is registered in the Korean Intellectual Property Office(Patent No. 10-1680039). The study deals with a functional baseball uniform designed to prevent foreign material from entering the inside of a uniform when performing vent leg sliding and head first sliding. The functional baseball uniform is designed in such a manner that the top and bottom are fixed together by a belt and the lower part of the top is folded inward and fixed to the bottom. Therefore, the functional baseball uniform effectively prevent the foreign material because the top of uniform is covering the bottom of uniform when performing sliding repeatedly. The advantages of wearing this functional baseball uniform are as follows. First, baseball players will be able to concentrate on the game because they do not feel uncomfortable due to the foreign material that entered the uniform during the game. Second, if athletes wear functional baseball uniforms, baseball game playing time will be shortened.
