Abstract

Regional Characteristics and Regional Movement of Japanese colonial era Social Equality Movement for the People were examined. Through this, the difference between the southern and northern regions could be found. It was confirmed that the southern regions such as Gyeongsangdo and Chungcheong-do accounted for a large proportion of butcher, social equality organization, and anti-Social Equality Movement for the People. The difference could be found in the strength and weakness of Neo-Confucian tradition, the spread of Western ideas, and the degree of modernization. Through this, the atmosphere of the equity movement was halved and a close bond with the social movement forces was maintained.
