Abstract

Problem setting. Conducted a study of effective activity of the state in regulating the development of animal husbandry, the operation of which is a relevant issue because of the state of Affairs in the industry and accepted by public-policy decisions depend on socio-economic development not only of agriculture but also the state and the level of food security. Recent research and publications analysis. It is established that the problem of revival and state regulation of animal husbandry in the conditions of stabilization of market relations has not found its deep reflection in the scientific research of scientists. Therefore, further study of the nature, content, principles and tools of state regulation of animal husbandry and the identification of factors affecting its efficiency. Paper objective. The purpose of the article is a comprehensive study of the problem of state regulation of animal husbandry, taking into account the impact on its development of internal and external factors. Paper main body. The current state of the functioning of animal husbandry and the use of regulatory and legislative materials aimed at increasing the production of competitive animal products is studied. The necessity of interaction between the instruments of state regulation of animal husbandry is pointed out. It is noted that one of the important tools of state regulation is the budget policy of the state, which contributes to increasing the size of budget support and strengthening of state regulation of the process of its distribution in animal husbandry. It is proved that the implementation of measures of state regulation will ensure sustainable development and profitability of animal husbandry. Conclusions of the research. We believe that the state regulation of animal husbandry contributes to the comprehensive support of livestock producers and is a priority of the state agricultural policy of the country. In the future, we should not expect that animal husbandry will become a powerful institutional subject of the market without effective measures of state support and state regulation of its further development. In subsequent years, considerable attention should be given not only to balancing the interests of state authorities, public administration, local self-government and livestock enterprises, but also to creating appropriate conditions for their economic activities in difficult market conditions. The proposed need to use in the state regulation of criteria to ensure the intensive development of animal husbandry industry.
