Abstract

Since 2011, there has been a collective academic trend called Digital Humanities in Taiwan. The foundation was the task of building a digital archive of historical literature and the sense of problem. Digital Humanities was a stepping stone to academic questions and practices in applying information science technology to humanities research. The scholars of Digital in Taiwan have created a new method of learning by developing and using tools to read and analyze massive amounts of digital archive in such a way. This method is to read and analyze digital data in digital rather than analog. “The international conference of Digital Archive & Digital Humanities” (DADH) started to held in 2009, the organization of digital humanities was strengthened and the Taiwan Association Digital Humanities was officially launched in 2016. Through this process, digital liberal arts has become a new territory and the term ‘DHer(Digital Humanities Scholar)’ has also been coined. Taiwan
