Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the integrity and the individuality between Korean Language Education as national language and Korean Language Education as foreign language. The integrity is based on the universality of educational aspect. Otherwise, the individuality is based on the specificity of a field of study. It is very difficult for each researcher to define clearly what Korean Language Education is. But we can draw a blueprint about the connection between two field of study. They can interact each other in the point of view of the domain of research and the study around them. And they can be compatible with the other in the point of view of the legal basis, the learner, the teacher, and the curriculum. (The National Institute of the Korean Language)
