Abstract

The article describes the prosodic features of youth’s speech: affricates strengthening, vowels stretching, ascending and descending intonation in certain areas of the syntagma. The prosodic features of the speech behavior of the Amur region youth indicate the intentional lengthening of final vowels at the beginning of the utterance, the non-normative intonation design of some syntagmas. Young people do not use all the prosodic richness to express their own thoughts, which is the evidence of monotony, sameness and uniqueness of speech.
