Abstract
This article examined the development trends of intergenerational relations. The features of intergenerational relations in Kyrgyz society, factors affecting the origin of positive andnegative trends in these relations are also shown. Being a multidimensional phenomenon of public life, intergenerational relations inevitably become subject to the influence of numerous factors of political, economic, spiritual and sociocultural development of society. In this regard, in order to understand the underlying causes of the formation of intergenerational relations in a particular society in a particular era, a detailed examination of these features from the perspective of interaction of representatives of different ages is necessary.
