Abstract
The article deals with the problems and ways of implementing gender policy and women's rights in the conditions of modern Kyrgyzstan in the context of international documents on the In particular, the issues of gender equality in the main international documents reflecting women's rights are analyzed. And the amendments and additions made to the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic on these issues are also being considered. The authors of this article believe that the main document on women's rights at the international level is the "Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women" (CEDAW - CIDO). Further, the article analyzes the problems in the promotion of gender policy and some ways to solve them in Kyrgyzstan.
