Abstract

Due to increasing competition in the tourism and hospitality industry, there is a need to study the classical principles of hotel management, which remains relevant today. The aim of this research is to determine the functions of the main departments of a hotel in accordance with the classical representation of its basic structure. The article examines the functionality of hotel staff according to the description of various departments and provides information on units that provide additional services for hotel guests. A description of the main qualities of the staff for providing high-quality service is also presented. The main research method used is modeling, which involves defining the subject of research in an existing model, in this case, the organizational structure of a hotel enterprise. Today, hotel management is a key factor in providing quality hotel services, as well-organized work is the key to successful business.
