Abstract
〈Bukgwangok〉, the words of exile, is the work of Song Jooseok who accompanied Uam Song Siyeol on his way to exile about that of Song Siyeol’s exile. 〈Bukgwangok〉 records the full account of the disputes on proprieties in the year Gihae and Gabin, which became the reason for the exile of Uam Song Jooseok defends Uam and exposes the disputers on the opposite side of Uam by describing the dispute on proprieties in the year Gihae. Also, he expresses his gratitude to King Hyeonjong for not imposing punishment and describes how Uam underwent ordeals after King Sukjong changed his heart while giving an account of the dispute in the year Gabin. This study analyzed what Song Jooseok said by describing the path of exile and the exile to a gasket at the severity of the reality.
