Abstract

Sustainable growth and development of a plant is a function of interacting factors. In irrigated farming, water consumption, irrigation dates, irrigation norm, equal distribution of water on the irrigated area, under conditions of unchanged soil structure belong to the category of difficult tasks of irrigation. In the case of irrigation area usage close to one, the consideration of seepage and discharge conditions is an urgent issue. In the paper, based on the even distribution of water, a prediction model of the free surface is provided. In particular, the equations, describing the length of the irrigation strip, irrigation rate and irrigation water flow, are derived.
