Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the topical issues of modern education. In the conditions of the multipolar world, foreign language communication between representatives of different countries is increasing. The effective implementation of politics, economics, culture, and educational contacts between people depends on the formed competencies of interpersonal, including foreign language, communication. Among the tasks of training modern bachelors, undergraduates and postgraduates, the task of having students of culture and culture of interpersonal communication is put forward.Great importance in the presented article is given to the analysis of verbal and nonverbal means of its formation. In the considered type of culture, three types of competencies are distinguished - language, communicative and rhetorical communicative competencies. As part of the culture, foreign language communication serves to indicate the ability of subjects to create socially correct statements. Rhetorical competence involves taking into account the characteristics of the candidate due to the knowledge of the speech strategies used by him.The culture of foreign language communication is presented in the article as a necessary component of the future professional and personal life of a modern student.The necessity of theoretical and technical support for the implementation of the process of formation of this type of culture is emphasized, which includes several stages: mastering the necessary language material to establish contacts between students in different situations, the selection and process of using various lexical expressions in the process of foreign language communication, design and development of educational communication situations taking into account communication, linguistic and rhetorical competence.The formation of a culture of foreign language communication presupposes the social, linguistic, cultural, pedagogical and psychological content of the educational process. The theoretical significance of the article consists in revealing the phenomenon of the culture of foreign language communication, its components and its significance in the future professional, personal, scientific activities of modern students.The practical significance lies in the substantiation of verbal and nonverbal means of forming a culture of foreign language communication.Prospects for further study of this problem may consist in substantiating innovative technologies that contribute to the effective formation of a culture of foreign language communication.
