Abstract

The aim of the study is to clarify the areas of the secondary nomination of pressure verbs. The scientific novelty lies in a comprehensive approach to solving the problem of representing the meanings of verbal vocabulary in lexicographic sources: 1) for the first time, a complete representation of the subframe of pressure verbs is given, in which the semantics of alienation based on three languages is presented; 2) for the first time, the deep models “Longevity” and “Submission” are formulated on the basis of the method of verbs cognitive modelling. The obtained results have shown that the category of possessiveness is universal for verbs in languages of different systems and can manifest itself as a result of a well-thought-out tactics of the subject, which gives a reason to consider the studied verbs as modus ones.
