Abstract

This paper proposes to build DB based on the factuality, logic, academic value, and rationality of knowledge related to Gyobang-gayo through the reinterpretation of Jinju Gyobang Culture seen through dance. The key points are as described below.
First, Jinju Gyobang Culture seen through dance can be interpreted as acquiring, sharing, and advancing the human patterns of wanting to continuously evolve something. Because this has the same trajectory of the destination and value that intangible cultural heritage has, it may good for Jinju to explore the idea of building a DB with a focus on being a city of intangible cultural heritage.
Second, looking at the status of the intangible cultural heritage DB provided by the nation and Jinju city, the definitions and criteria of intangible culture assets are provided without applying the legislation revised in 2015, and the descriptions of categories are organized briefly and haphazardly. The revised legislation and policy need to be examined to quickly correct the definitions, classifications, subjects, and content that reflect it, and a balanced, unified, connected, and synthesized DB should be aimed to be built.
Third, as an example, if the process of building the Gyobang-gayo DB is centered around humanities and art researchers, a detailed plan must be established stage by stage. Metalexicography or DB index items need to be developed and categorized, and form the overall design of the Gyobang-gayo DB. Lastly, the electronic data files needed for DB creation need to be organized, and the network device manager needs to be provided with the files. The serialized processes shall be presented as a DB Archive model of “Jinjugomoo( Jinju’s drum dance),” one of the Gyobang-gayo.
