Abstract

Abstract This research reviewed the political liquidations of the Iraqi opponents , including the clergy , and what are the reasons and motives that led the Baath party to take repressive measures against the Islamic movement in Iraq and the increased pursuit by the Baath authorities of religious science students belonging to the Islamic Dawa party and the initiative to arrest them like the martyrs of the grip of guidance , and stipulated the need to eliminate the religious reference as the major obstacle in the march of the Baath party , and what are the reactions of the religious reference and the Iraq street towards these arrests. This research also reviewed the liquidation of the khan al-nass uprising 1977 and the decisions to prevent the exit of foot marches to karbala and the challenge and insistence of visitors to march towards karbala.
