Abstract

The history of Soviet propaganda is a less-studied problem, including in relation to the international political emigration that left the former Russian Empire after the Bolsheviks came to power in 1917. The article uses the textual research method to analyze a number of archival data and materials of the Soviet press introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. The main conclusion is that Promethean criticism of the Kremlin’s domestic and foreign policies was effective and had an influence on the European public opinion.
