Abstract

When the several cool/heat tubes are buried under ground into proximity arrangement, heat exchange capability of the tubes is decreased from the influence of the adjoining tube. Although each tube needs sufficient distance, tubes are buried into proximity arrangement frequently, because of the restriction of space and the cost for digging. Therefore, this study aims at developing obvious design method for the system. In this paper, the efficiency of multi-cool/heat tube was evaluated from the result of field measurement. Then, numerical analysis was conducted in order to investigate the performance of this system. Finally, Sensitivity analysis was carried out for clarifying the effect of burying distance & arrangement of tubes on heat exchange performance.
