Abstract

The article proposes an innovative approach to studying the phonological corpus of two compared languages. The adoption of a foreign language phonemic code through a phonemic cluster which is considered as a subsystem of homogenous linguistic elements, in this case, phonemes and their allophones, allows avoiding distortions of their phonological image during linguistic description. From the perspective of a comparative cluster basis of phonemes the authors propose the model of a phonological bilingual simulator capable to minimize negative interference under subordinative bilingualism.
