Abstract

This study, we attempted to explore future policy improvement measures by analyzing the current education policy based on an understanding of the settlement of multicultural Married Migrant women in Korean society. To this end, this study first examined the theoretical background and current status of the settlement of multicultural Married Migrant women. Second, we analyzed current educational policies to support multicultural immigrant women through marriage. Third, based on the analysis, problems in education policy and improvement measures to overcome them were presented. The direction of the new education policy is as follows. First, it is necessary to maximize professionalism and efficiency through collaboration between agencies in charge. Second, educational contents for each country must be developed and operated to reduce prejudice for economic activity and social participation. Third, it is necessary to promote economic participation and stable settlement by using marriage migrant women to cultivate multicultural experts.
