Abstract
China’s population growth slowed due to the birth control policy that began in the 1980s. However, labor shortages and aging populations have intensified, and Xi Jinping has eased birth control since the mid-2010s. With the permission of two children, childbirth increased, and as their parents opened their wallets for their children, China’s angel market grew rapidly. China’s angel market will grow rapidly in the future as the Chinese government plans to further ease birth control in 2021. Korean angel companies with stagnant growth need success in China’s angel market. However, the Chinese angel market is highly competitive, highly regulated, and difficult for consumers. In order to succeed in the Chinese angel market, we need to fully understand consumption behavior and learn success case.
