Abstract

The relevance of the chosen research is determined by the need for the elderly people to socially integrate into modern realities of the social development. This need is associated with a demographic factor, namely, with increase of the elderly people share in the society social structure, which inevitably leads to the social-demographic structure transformation. At the same time, integration of an elderly person depends on social barriers, such as communicative hindrances arising from the discrepancy of social values, attitudes, as well as confrontation of social roles in the interaction of generations.
