Abstract
This study is ‘The Meaning and Application of Sports Amateurism in Laotzu and Chuangtzu’s Thought.’ The sport of modern society is a huge industry. Sports have also become a daily life. Therefore, it is a culture that is difficult to deal with. By the way, today’s sports are happening with various Deviant Behaviors. It is manipulation of the game through sports, drug taking(doping), violence and gambling. And sport still has sex discrimination, racial discrimination and national (national) discrimination. This study is an amateurism as found in Laotzu and Chuangtzu’s Thought. The first is the idea of naturalism(道法自然), the second is the idea of amusing(逍遙遊), and the third is the idea of freedom(自由). These ideas are the sports spirit that sportsmen need. These ideas are sports minds that can be fully utilized today.
