Abstract

Speech as a Means of Developing Thinking Summary The article discusses the conditions for successful development of speech and the formation of speech skills in students. The meanings of speech development are determined. The directions for the formation of a culture of oral communication in elementary school are identified and justified. Particular attention is paid to the linguistic features of oral and written speech, which contribute to the development of thinking, the socialization of younger schoolchildren and the development of interest.
