Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the changes in Korean creative dance by examining the history of regular performances by the National Dance Company, identifying the trends by period through a literature review and analysis of its works. This study revealed that from the 1st to the 4th period, Korean creative dance had a challenge to new genres, including fusion and acceptance for creating new works, and formed a basic framework during this period. The 5th period has witnessed the continuous development of Korean creative dance and methods for the transmission and preservation of traditional dance.
