Abstract
The article deals with the issues of security in correctional institutions, consisting of ensuring the safety of correctional officers and the safety of the convicts themselves. Ensuring security depends on the ability and ability of correctional personnel to prevent crime and criminal behavior of subjects in places of deprivation of liberty. In order to effectively prevent crimes and ensure the safety of convicts, constant monitoring of the operational situation in the institution is necessary.
