ЧЕХИ И «ЧУЖИЕ»: СОЦИОЛОГИЧЕСКОЕ ИЗМЕРЕНИЕ

The article discusses the current attitude of Czechs to national minorities and foreigners, living in the country
The focus is on the problem of other nations adaptation to Czech habits and traditions
The author comes to a conclusion that tolerance of Czechs to other national cultures is rather weak
Summary
Поскольку у большинства чехов нет собственного опыта жизни за границей, неудивительно, что их отношение к иностранцам и особенно иммигрантам характеризуется такими понятиями, как «страх» и «осторожность». Всего 15% респондентов соглашалось, что «мир был бы лучшим, если бы люди из других стран больше походили на чехов». Что «невозможно стать настоящим чехом людям, не разделяющим чешских обычаев и традиций», усвоение которых важно для культурной интеграции в чешское общество.
