Abstract

The objective of study analyze on service combined housing policy of 4 foreign countries in terms of their long-term care systems. Analysis focus on supply subject, laws and role between the public and private. Municipal governments of Sweden play a pivotal role in providing that housing. On the contrary, private institutions take part in main role in providing one in case of America. The subject countries have in common things that service combined housing are included by their long-term care systems and providing old ages with a variety of services for their independent living. Results of policy implications are like as follows. First, it need to set up division of role in combined housing supply system. We should select whether service combined housing would be a kind of public housing or its provision assigned with private entities. Second, the regulation of construction and management should be determined considering its purpose and domestic contexts. Third, it is essential for succeeding housing policy combining housing and other related services efficient and reasonable.
